Have you ever tried to make "herbal balms" by yourself? It is not so difficult :) I'll show you how I made them :)
from left to right: Biwa/ Yokuinin/ Shikon/ Comfrey/ St. Johnswort/ Calendula
They are really colorful even without pigment.
Biwa is a Japanese tree you would find everywhere in Japan. The leaves of the tree are used for a long time to treat atopic dermatitis.
Yokuinin is a kind of wheat and used also in the TCM as remedy for Warts.
Shikon ist s root of a medical plant and has really purple/ red color. That heals wounds.
Comfrey contains a toxic substance but the plant helps rheumatism. My mother and our horse have very good experience with the herbs. My mother had a problem with her legs and my friend from germany has made a Comfrey balm for my mother and she has used it for some weeks (because of its toxic substance, you must not use more over 6 weeks in a year) and her legs have healed............... It was really amazing....
st. Johnswort is very famous for its work for depression, but the St. Johnswort oil works for muscle fever. You collect a lot of tiny, yellow flowers of St. Johnswort and pickle them in the olive oil for 6 weeks. The oil turns red and it is the sign that you can use the oil :)
Calendula is a magical herb and it is one of my favorite herbs :) Calendula tea helps when you have a problem with your eyes. The balm (or cream) has anti-inflammentory effekt :)
I'm really happy that i can show you the balms :)
